Looking For An Easy Recipe? A List of 8!

Food Blogger Love Time!

I’m always on the lookout for a new easy recipe to add to our meals list, and looking to other bloggers has been a great inspiration. We’re all here to support one another and learn from each other. I love to experiment, but I tend to not do it as often as I want to. That’s where others come in handy 🙂

Lemonade Life – Lemon Loaf

If you love lemon loaf as much as I do, you’ll definitely want to make this all summer long. Honestly, I will make this all year round, because lemon is one of my favourite things.

Seriously, one of my favourite wax melt scents is lemon pound cake from Fantasy Wax Melts. I just got a new one from L3 Waxy Wonders which is called Pucker-Up Buttercup. It smells so delicious on cold I could eat it. I won’t, but I could.

Way off track. Anyways, lemon loaf from the lemonade life. Great as is, but if you wanted to add the icing on top, whip up an easy lemon glaze icing and you’ll have a copycat Starbucks lemon loaf. The pun was totally intended!

Lynn Mumbing – Pineapple Chicken

If there is one thing you should know about me, it’s that if something can be served in a pineapple, I am sold 110%! Now, because this was just me and my husband, we didn’t serve up in a pineapple, but for a group, we will. This Pineapple Coconut Chicken is easy to make and family-friendly; especially if you serve in the pineapple.

Personally, I am not a big fan of chicken thighs, but I took one for the team to follow the recipe as closely as possible. Next time, I will just do chicken breast, but that’s strictly a me thing.

This was super easy to make, and the flavours complement each other perfectly.

A Spicy Perspective – Chicken Fajita Soup

This is usually the first soup I make every fall. It’s a lighter soup so makes for a great transition season meal. Ridiculously easy to make, and leftovers still taste delicious. Pairs really well with my honey beer bread, which surprisingly I have yet to put up on my blog.

This is a hearty soup that will make you feel very satisfied but isn’t super heavy. Always a win in my book!

A Spicy Perspective – Thai Chicken Soup

Can you tell I love soup? I could pretty much eat every meal in the winter if it were soup. I’m usually always cold, so warming up with a cup of soup is just the best. Even better when it is a super-simple and easy recipe that doesn’t involve hours in the kitchen.

I love to order soup when we get Thai takeout, but it’s so not the same via takeout. This Thai Chicken Soup is just as good, if not better, and I know exactly what is in it. Plus I make enough to eat soup at least the next day.

Taste of Home – Egg Roll Noodle Bowl

Tasty, hearty, and such an easy recipe to throw together. I think my husband came across this Egg Roll Noodle Bowl recipe, but I can’t recall for certain. This is often thrown into our meal plan when we’re looking for something super easy to make, and also super delicious.

If you don’t like cabbage, this obviously isn’t the recipe for you. But seriously, so tasty with a little hit of spice when you add in some red chilies.

A Spicy Perspective – Zesty Lamb Gyros

We love a good gyro in our household, and we’re both huge fans of lamb. This one is made with ground lamb, but baked in a meatloaf style, and then sliced up with your Greek fixings! This is an easy recipe that just involves cooking the meat and then getting everyone to fill up their pita to their liking.

Honestly, any excuse to eat pita bread is a winner in my book. And feta cheese.

Jamie Oliver – Quick Salmon Tikka With Cucumber Yogurt

If you’re looking for a super simple and quick dinner idea, this is it! If you don’t like spice, you may not be on board with this, but easy enough to eliminate the red chilies.

We love salmon in our household, and we love a meal with a good kick. This Salmon Tikka delivers on both. Ready to eat in less than 30 minutes so always a hit for us when we’re short on time.

An easy recipe that can be whipped up in no time is a winner all around.

Jamie Oliver – Sizzle Beef in Black Bean Sauce

This Sizzling Beef Bowl has quickly become a staple in our meal rotation as it is easy to make, filling, and ridiculously tasty. If you find yourself looking for a super easy dinner to throw together after a long day of work or with the kids, this is for you. You can make the spice level whatever you want, but we’re team more red chilis! This is also a great meal to prep in advance and bring to work or school for lunch as well.

That’s A Wrap

Pun slightly intended, seeing as there is a pita wrap recipe on here 😉

I hope you enjoyed this list and if you try any of them, let me know what you think. And make sure to go give those bloggers some love because a lot of hard work goes into coming up with these recipes. You and I see an easy recipe come to life, but odds are that person went through multiple attempts to get it just right.

What are some of your favourite go-to and easy recipes that you’ve come across? I’m always looking for more to try and add to our meal rotations.
