Gift Guide For Her

Whether you’re looking for something for your girlfriend, wife, mom, aunt, grandma, the best friend I have rounded up 10 gift ideas for her. There are various price ranges, bu

Dyson Hair Products

If you’re looking for a luxury gift that she would love, say no more. Multiple hair tools are expensive, and let’s be honest,

sometimes it can take women forever to get ready. For me, hair is my biggest time suck. While these products carry a hefty price tag at first glance, everyone raves about these products. It’s on my list for sure.

When I last checked on the Dyson website, the air wrap was sold out but was showing available on the Amazon website. Sephora also carries the Dyson hair products so always a good spot to check out if not available through Dyson or Amazon.

Bonus points if you use your partner’s Sephora account so she gets the points.

Laneige Lip Masks

Combat the dry Winter air with a lip mask. The weather has changed, and Winter is upon us; well, most of us especially here in North America. I have used this lip mask now for two years, and I won’t ever stop. This can be used at night before bed, or throughout the day.

This lip mask will last a lot longer than you’d think, and as the holidays are upon us, Sephora has gift sets. Snag a gift set to give her the option to try different flavours, and it’s a little easier on your pocket. She’ll be thanking you endlessly.

Kindle

Does she love to read? Give her the gift that keeps on giving – a Kindle.

While I love holding an actual book in my hands, I do read a lot, so purchasing books gets expensive. An added bonus is less clutter, which I am always game for. And less to pack when we head on a vacation (what’s a vacation again?).

Kitchen-Aid Mixer

Now, I tend to stay away from kitchen gifts for spouses, but I do make an exception for a few items. One of those is the Kitchen-Aid mixer. Perfect for the gal that loves to be in the kitchen creating those savoury and sweet types of dishes.

If she already has one of these, there are different types of attachments you can get for them and would make an excellent gift if it’s something you’ve heard her mention.

I received my Kitchen-Aid Pro mixer six years ago now – possibly seven – and I love it! Especially when it comes to pastry doughs that require kneading; far less manual work on my part is always a bonus.

Gift Guide - Wireless Phone Charging Stand

Wireless Phone Charger/Charging Stand

Wireless phone charging stand? Who wouldn’t love this kind of gift?? If she also has an apple watch and/or AirPods to go

with, you can level up to the charging station so she can charge all her devices in one spot.

Cricut or Silhouette Machine

Silhouette Cameo 4 - AmazonNeed a gift for the crafty one in your life? Look no further than either the Silhouette Cameo 4, the Cricut Maker or the Cricut Explore.

Depending on the type of crafting she loves to do, one machine may work better than the other.

Cut Cut Craft has a great comparison between Silhouette and Cricut so if you’re unsure about which to purchase, this article should help you.

I often wonder how much money I could save if I printed and cut my own planner stickers …hint husband.

Large Heating Pad

Know someone that deals with achy muscles or just loves to feel warm during the winter months? Heating pad to the rescue!

There are many different varieties, but I love the ones that wrap on so I don’t have to lay on the floor with it.

Really, this works for anyone, but definitely a great gift idea for all the women in your life. But might I suggest not getting the same gift for everyone …but definitely a gift you can’t go wrong with.

Memory Foam Massaging Mat

You could level up from the heating pad, and opt for a massaging mat.

Whether they’re working in a labour-intensive job, are on their feet all day such as doctors, surgeons, nurses, sit all day, deal with back pain, or just love to treat themselves to a massage, this is a great gift her for. Also, a gift that is likely to be used by all, but the rules should clearly state that she gets dibs.

Again, this could be a gift for anyone, but we both know she’ll get the most use out of this. I would happily accept this gift and honestly, if I don’t, I’ll just buy it after the holidays.

Travel Laptop Tote Bag

Does she travel a lot for work? Digital nomad? This laptop tote bag slides onto her suitcase and keeps her laptop protected but easily accessible for security lines and checks.

Having a secure laptop bag that she doesn’t have to lug on her shoulder is something she’ll be eternally thankful for. Plus, it looks stylish which is always a bonus!

Apple Watch or Garmin Fitness Watch

For the person who is always attached to her phone, so would love an extension of that on her wrist, we have the Apple watch. If she’s more of a fitness junkie and loves to see a detailed breakdown of stats on various types of activities,

Garmin has a wide variety of options.

I personally use the Garmin Forerunner 645 Music and is stylish enough that I can wear it day-to-day without feeling like I have a sports watch on. Additional watch bands are on my Christmas list 🙂

Pssssssst: usually Costco has an Apple watch on offer, so if you’re a Costco member, that’s always a good option. And it’s Costco, so usually, there’s something additional like Apple Care included or discounted.

Custom Gift Box From YYC Collective

This one is near and dear to me because it’s a friend’s company she started during the pandemic which highlights local small businesses and gives back to charity with part of the profits. I love to support small businesses and creators, and I especially love when I can put something together for a specific person.

YYC collective is based in Calgary, AB, Canada, but she does ship all over Canada. You can choose from curated boxes, or you can create your own. If you reside outside of Canada, I’m sure you can find similar businesses that support local small businesses in your region 🙂

If you live in Calgary, you can arrange to pick up. I’ve ordered a few times, and shipping has always been quick to Vancouver.

Gift Guide Wrap Up

Get it? Pun was totally intended 😉

These are just some of the ideas that I came up with that would make great gifts for this holiday season for any woman in your life. Try not to leave items to the last minute, but if you do, may the shipping gods be with you. I bought a last-minute addition to a gift last year, and it barely arrived on time.

On that note, be kind to your couriers this year. They’re working really hard to get packages to people on time. I live in a highrise so they leave downstairs with our concierge so I never see them, but exercise a little extra joy for them. There is no shortage of work for them, and they’re just people like the rest of us, likely relying on other couriers to have packages delivered on time.

What are some of the best gifts you’ve ever received for the holidays? I’d love to know so let me know in the comments.

Oh, and no I don’t get Hanukkah and Christmas gifts from my husband. We exchange gifts on Christmas morning, and sometimes my in-laws give small gifts for Hanukkah. They dropped off Aperol for me last year; I don’t know whether I should be offended or proud 🙂 Kidding of course; I am a pretty lucky gal.
