Striderz Club – Social Media

Striderz is a fitness club that has evolved from a social run club, to include run training, and has now evolved to a fitness club that encompasses running, strength training and group fitness. They are a group where anyone of any fitness level is welcomed without judgement.

Social Media Marketing

Social media plays an important role in a businesses’ inbound marketing strategy, and Striderz realized this. He also knew that this involved an effort that was beyond his capability while running and growing his fitness club community.

Instagram

Instagram Marketing - StriderzFocusing on growing follower count was key. Within the first month of consistent messaging and consistent branded posts, we saw the following:

  • 11.5% follower count increase in 30 days.
  • Overall impressions increased 23.4% in 30 days.
  • Increased website clicks by 23% in 30 days.
  • Increased profile views by 42% in 30 days.

Feed Posts

Sticking to a cohesive colour and font scheme has definitely helped with brand recognition.

IG Stories

The incorporation of Instagram stories has helped to get more eyes on posts. Sharing videos or posts that they are tagged in is also helping us strengthen our community bond and of course. When they are tagged in these posts, it helps to get the social version of “word of mouth” out, as we all know people are more likely to join or buy something that is personally recommended by someone they know.

IG Reels

Reels have a longer shelf life compared to a story or feed post and are a great way to continue building your audience and can show a more informal side of your business. Striderz has just begun to tap into that and has seen 2,000+ views with a following of 150.

Customized Linkinbio Landing Page

Previously, the link on the Striderz Instagram profile page had a link to the website, which could be improved. By switching to Later social scheduler, we were able to use their customizableLater Linkinbio Social Strategy - Striderz linkinbio which is essentially a landing page.

By customizing this, we’re able to have direct links to areas, instead of just the homepage of the website. Each post in the feed can have a direct link, which works out well when we’re posting a run route (which also gets linked in stories).

By doing this, we’re helping to direct visitors directly where they want to go instead of landing on a website and having to navigate.

Facebook

This platform has begun to fall in recent years, but there is still an audience to tap into and is great for advertising. With both a business page and a group, Striderz is able to hone in on their community.
